Greater Milwaukee Area

Milwaukee County is located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. At the 2020 census, the population was 939,489, down from 947,735 in 2010.[1][2] It is both the most populous and most densely populated county in Wisconsin, and the 45th most populous county nationwide; Milwaukee, its eponymous county seat,[3] is also the most populous city in the state. The county was created in 1834 as part of Michigan Territory and organized the following year.[4]

Ozaukee County is a county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 91,503.[1] Its county seat is Port Washington.[2] Ozaukee County is included in the Milwaukee–Waukesha–West Allis, WI Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Washington County is a county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 136,761.[1] Its county seat is West Bend.[2] The county was created from Wisconsin Territory in 1836 and organized in 1845.[3] It was named after President George Washington.[4]

Waukesha County is a county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 406,978, making it the third-most populous county in Wisconsin. Its county seat and largest city is Waukesha.[2]

Central Wisconsin Lakeshore

Sheboygan County is a county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It is named after the Sheboygan River.[1] As of the 2020 census, the population was 118,034.[2] Its county seat is Sheboygan.[3] The county was created in 1836 and organized in 1846.[4] At the time, it was located in the Wisconsin Territory. Sheboygan County comprises the Sheboygan, WI Metropolitan Statistical Area. Part of the Holyland region is located in northwestern Sheboygan County.

Manitowoc County is a county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 81,359.[2] Its county seat is Manitowoc.[3] The county was created in 1836 prior to Wisconsin's statehood and organized in 1848.[4] Manitowoc County comprises the Manitowoc, WI Micropolitan Statistical Area.

Kewaunee County is a county located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 20,563.[2] Its county seat is Kewaunee.[3] The county was created in 1852 and organized in 1859.[4] Its Menominee name is Kewāneh, an archaic name for a species of duck.[5] Kewaunee County is part of the Green Bay, WI Metropolitan Statistical Area as well as the Green Bay-Shawano, WI Combined Statistical Area.

Eastern Central Wisconsin

Fond du Lac County is a county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 104,154.[4] Its county seat is Fond du Lac.[5] The county was created in the Wisconsin Territory in 1836 and later organized in 1844.[6] Fond du Lac is French for "bottom of the lake", given so because of the county's location at the southern shore of Lake Winnebago.[7][8][9] Fond du Lac County comprises the Fond du Lac, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area.[10] The Holyland region is in northeastern Fond du Lac County.

Winnebago County is a county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 171,730. Its county seat is Oshkosh.[2] It was named for the historic Winnebago people, a federally recognized Native American tribe now known as the Ho-Chunk Nation. Chief Oshkosh was a Menominee leader in the area. Winnebago County comprises the Oshkosh-Neenah, WI Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is included in the Appleton-Oshkosh-Neenah, WI Combined Statistical Area. 

Outagamie County is a county in the Fox Cities region of the U.S. state of Wisconsin, located in the northeast of the state. As of the 2020 Census, the population was 190,705.[2] Its county seat is Appleton.[3]

Calumet County is a county located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 52,442.[2] The county seat is Chilton.[3] The county was created in 1836 (then in the Wisconsin Territory) and organized in 1850.[4]

Door County Peninsula Wisconsin Lakeshore

Door County is the easternmost county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 30,066.[2] Its county seat is Sturgeon Bay.[3] It is named after the strait between the Door Peninsula and Washington Island. The dangerous passage, known as Death's Door, contains shipwrecks and was known to Native Americans and early French explorers. The county was created in 1851 and organized in 1861.[4] Nicknamed the "Cape Cod of the Midwest," Door County is a popular Upper Midwest vacation destination. It is also home to a small Walloon population.
